With my partner, I curated an exhibit that could be displayed at the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum and advertisements for it. After combining the pieces we each considered for the exhibition, we noticed they all focused around the theme of how people interact with rivers in their lives. Pairing a color palette of muted blues and oranges with a forest green allowed our title to stand out against the winding background lines we used to emulate the aerial view of a river. After a few reworks, the family activity I created for the exhibition was able to have both interactive and informative components, in the form of a river maze on the front and a “compare your results”/real-world instances chart on the back.
